Pauline C. Miller, 66, Dickinson, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at her home. Pauline’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 13, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Keith Streifel as the Celebrant. Interment will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. There will be a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., Wednesday, at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Bob Zent presiding.

Pauline C. Harrington was born September 2, 1943 in Richardton, the daughter of George and Christine (Schubert) Harrington. She was raised and educated in Richardton, having graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Richardton.

Pauline married Arthur M. Miller on July 30, 1962 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton. Together they made their home southeast of Dickinson, where they raised their family. Pauline was very proud that they all received a good education and graduated from high school.

Pauline was a very kind and caring individual, was very sociable and loved to visit. She loved her family and many extended family members. She also loved fishing, gardening, milking cows, dancing, singing and playing cards. When she was younger she loved to spend time at her grandma’s farm and during her married life she belonged to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Pauline is survived by her eight children, Sharron F. (fiance-Stanley Keller) Miller, Dodge, Beverly A. (Joseph) Vrana, Upton, Wyo., Jacqueline M. Miller, Dickinson, Sandra K. Fahrenholtz, Indianapolis, Ind., Wayne L. (fiancee-JoAnn Lennick) Miller, Dickinson, Judy L. (Clyde) Flyberg, Dickinson, Jeffrey A. Miller, Dickinson, and Michelle R. (Jeff) Mayer, Dickinson; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, David (MaryAnn) Harrington and Robert Harrington; one sister, MaryAnn Harrington, all of Richardton; and other family members, Darrell Koppinger, James Fahrenholtz and Lea Madler. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Art on April 29, 2006, her parents, and one brother, James Harrington. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or to the donors choice.
