Michael “Mike” Lippert, 45, Dickinson, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at his home. Mike’s Liturgy of Word Service will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2019 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Msgr. Thomas Richter presiding. Entombment will follow at the Dickinson Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service and will continue on Monday from 8 a.m. to service time.

Michael Anton Lippert son of Arnny and Cecilia (Doll) Lippert was born on July 30, 1973 in Greeley, Colo. At the age of one he moved to North Dakota with his parents. He attended elementary school in Wishek from 1979 to 1981. He moved to Fairfield with his parents and attended third through eighth grade at Glade Elementary. He then attended and graduated from Belfield High School, where he loved his sports. He was involved in wrestling, played football, track & field, he was enrolled in Taekwondo, and he was also a gymnastics assistant coach.

After graduation, he then attended a year at North Dakota School of Science Wahpeton for autobody. Mike returned to Fairfield to work for GL Trucking & Rental, INC. Mike married Monica Rueb at River of Life in Dickinson on August 31, 2002. After working at GL Trucking & Rental, INC., Mike became self-employed in trucking of equipment and repair in the oilfield service industry. His last employment was working at Entrec Crane Services.

Mike had many hobbies. He liked to do mechanic work, welding, minor paint/autobody, driving truck, enjoyed going to the gym and lifting weights. His greatest passion was the freedom to work on and ride his Harley with his friends. His greatest joy was his love for his family. He had a charismatic personality, a wonderful smile and a great laugh. He was known for his adventurous side and life experiences. Everyone that had met Mike had a story to tell.

Mike is survived by his wife, Monica Lippert, Dickinson; two daughters, Savanna Lippert, Dickinson, and Jacy Rueb, Dickinson; one grandson, Skiler Lippert, Dickinson; parents, Arnny and Cecilia Lippert, Dickinson; two brothers, Aaron (Tina) Lippert, Detroit Lakes, Minn., Jeremy (Alyson) Lippert, Dickinson; one sister, Jennifer Lippert, Dickinson; seven nieces; one nephew; one great-nephew; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jacob and Ida Lippert and Anton and Theresia Doll; and two nephews, Ryker Lippert and Jhett Lippert.
